Whenever I buy peaches, it often seems like it’s a race to use them up before they start to turn. And while they’re the star of plenty of delicious, summery baked goods from pies to cobblers, sometimes heating up the oven feels like a lot of work on a hot day.

If you’re looking to whip up a sweet treat for just yourself (and maybe one other person), look no further than this no bake peach crumble, which comes together entirely in the microwave! In addition to a peach, you’ll need some flour, oats, sugar, and butter, but no other fancy ingredients or equipment. Yup, you read that right — not even eggs or baking soda/baking powder is required for this recipe!
Do you have to use a mug?
Though this peach crumble was technically formulated for a mug, this recipe is pretty foolproof. You can easily double it and use another microwave safe dish or bowl instead of a mug if you want to make a bigger serving. We recommend using ceramic or glass over plastic if you can, since it’ll be in the microwave for 3-5 minutes.
Can you use other fruits?
This recipe also works great with nectarines or apricots, or really any summer fruit. You can even combine peaches with other fruits like strawberries or apples, and it should turn out just fine! Serve it with some ice cream for a little extra flair.
In case you need a step-by-step breakdown, the full recipe is down below. Make sure to keep it handy next time you want to use up those peaches!
